Our Quality Control Measures:
- Strict selection of fresh burdock in the Tainan general district, using pickers who have been doing this for generations
- Completely Natural cultivation process, burdock is harvested over 4 - 5 months and delivered directly at a constantly maintained temperature of 0~5°C which maintains the burdock freshness
- Slowly cooked into 『老牛蒡』by utilising a low-temperature process using an all-natural cooking process taking place over 1 - 2 months, which allows its essence to be locked into our burdock
- All of our burdock are sanitized at 160°C, and then dried by hot air at 60°C, which allows for optimal preservation of the burdock's nutrients and minerals
