The coffee beans originate from Los Santos (‘The Saints’), an area 40km south of Tarrazu, Costa Rica with an altitude of 1,600m to 1,650 metres. OKLAO has managed to specially obtain this coffee from farmers in over 60 villages who have selected and handed over their best coffee beans to their village priest, Padre Ronald. This explains the origins of ‘del Padre’ (Spanish for ‘of the father’) in the coffee’s name. These one or two batches of coffee constitute the most premium-grade coffee from these farmers. Each cup of coffee is filled with an exotic taste paired with a rich fruitiness and is the farmers’ gift to all coffee lovers.
